Quality of Life Progam for UnOrganised Sector

The Quality of life of some of the workers in the unorganized sectors and different weaker section are far from satisfactory. It may be attributed to their low literacy, low and uncertain income, prevalence of social evils , poor social background, gender inequality etc. Problems in family affects their performance in the workplace and other problems at work sites./p>

 

This Quality of Life programme (2/4 Days) is an attempt to improve the Quality of Life of the underprivileged group of workers. The specialty of this programme is that all the participants are spouses. Only couples are allowed to participate in this programme.

 

During this very unique programme, the couples are sensitized about their roles, responsibilities, duties etc. This programme is a forum where husbands and wives while sitting together, discuss and come up with their feelings and expectations towards each other. All the issues related to their family, work and social life are discussed; this helps in strengthening their relationship and improves their quality of life.

 At the end of the 2 day of the programme, each participant will be paid a sum of @ Rs 200 per day through Direct Debit Transfer in the respective accounts of the participants.

 

Based on the Problems identified, the Education Officer prepares the programme contents. The Education Officer of CBWE conducts sessions on the required topics. In addition to this experts from the respective fields / Govt. officials from the pertaining departments viz.  Family welfare, Banks and other saving organizations, Women Development Corporation, Family Planning Association, Doctors from Govt. Hospitals etc. are also invited to deliver talks and interacts with the participants.
